Greetings church family!
It's the first weekend in September (hard to believe) and there's lots of great things happening here at MUMC!!
We conclude the sermon series "One God, One Goal"
Pastor Chris Bishop will preach. His message is titled "Run the Race with Perseverance".
 Scripture Readings: Hebrews 12:1-3
Communion will be served at all the services this weekend.
Saturday 5:00 and Sunday 8:30 & 11:00 will feature a contemporary music focus. Music will be led by Pam Mathews, Bernie Watkins, Greg Carter, Julie Jankowski and Sue Swann.
Sunday 9:45 (ASL interpreted) Join Louie Priolo and the Living Stones in praise and worship.
 A New Year of Sunday School Classes
Begin This Weekend during the 9:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. services. All Classes are Open to EVERYONE!!!
Register in the lobby or classroom! 9:45 a.m. Classes •Ages 3 year old through 5th grade Meet in downstairs preschool area. •Middle School - 6th, 7th and 8th Grade Classes Meet in the Education Building •High School Classes Meet in the Church Parsonage basement •Adult Classes Meet in Room 204S (Bible Study) & Gathering Room (Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White) 11:00 Classes •Combined class for ages 3 to 9 years •Brand New! Tweens class for ages 10 to 13 years Meet in Sanctuary and then go to class. •"In His Steps" - Focus on Core Purpose of our Faith (Gathering Room) •Adult Class - Meet in the Gathering Room (Seeing Gray in a World of Black and White) Not sure what to do or where to go?? Just show up Sunday morning and there will be people to direct you to the classes!
There's also many classes held throughout the week as well as music programs for all ages which begin in the coming week. Look for handouts and sign up's in the church lobby!
