MUMC, in partnership with Christ Reformed United Church of Christ, sponsored two young men from Liberia through Church World Services. Sponsorship consisted of welcoming them to our area, finding them jobs and housing, getting them medical care, helping furnish their apartments, assisting them in navigating the government paperwork, arranging for schooling, supplying them with meals and clothing and generally making them feel
loved and accommodated in their new country. |
